In this paper two different architectures for a Passive Bistatic Radar based on FM broadcast signals are described and compared. Two receiver prototypes have been developed and fielded, with proper laboratory tests and real data acquisition campaigns, at DIET Dept. of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. The results obtained with each receiver, both in term of disturbance cancellation and detection capabilities, are reported and compared, also with live Air Traffic Control registrations.

Abstract
