Forming students in software engineering and databases courses can be a complex task. It often requires innovative tools and must be carried out via non conventional processes. This is even more critical if students works in an online scenario and they are geographically dis-tributed. It is necessary they can cooperate in spite of the impossibility of regular and structured physical meetings. How to make them collaborating? How to coordinate them? Authors shows how the coordination through ETC platform can be an innovative way to create effective teams, with a specific focus on the collaboration in the development common projects. In particular, the paper analyse how ETC can facilitate cooperation be-tween students from different faculties.
